I am always looking for children’s books to read, so I decided to search the Internet to see if I could find any new titles. Imagine my surprise when I saw this book, Report Card Daze. It was not so much the title of the book that caught my surprise, it was the author’s name. As I looked at the name, I said I know him! Darrell E. Morton, Jr. or DJ to those who know personally know him, is a very close friend of mine. Seeing this book, I immediately contacted him because I wanted to buy and to add these books to my personal library. He mailed me my very own autographed copies. I am so proud of DJ; he has always been an inspiring and motivating person, and this book does just that: motivates and inspires. This is an awesome book for students to read, and I will tell you why in the the forthcoming book review.
